Jana Simms’ classes at Alive MMA offer a unique boxing program. Her group classes make everyone feel welcome and challenged, whether you are a beginner or a pro. One on one attention, a great workout both mentally and physically, and expert instruction are all part of Jana’s classes. Jana’s classes are geared toward those in attendance. A variety of drills and bag work, close attention to technique and footwork all combine to create a well rounded boxer. Whether the focus is conditioning, self defense or competition, each boxer will receive what they initially came to boxing for and so much more. She is also the co-owner of a new boxing promotions company Athena Boxing, which is dedicated to promoting NW Boxers.
Founder of the Team Freeform Women’s Boxing Club. Established in 1998. Specializing in the training of Women Boxers. Have produced Female Champions on the Local, State, National and International levels. To date: 12 female Champions and over 40 Championships total. Titles include: Multiple wins via, NY Metros, Empire State, New York Golden Gloves, National Golden Gloves, USA Nationals, Pan Am Games and Ringside Internationals.

Comments: I have trained boxers for over 40 yrs and have traveled around the world to develop my method. I have a school of boxing in London, and promote in Spain. I have boxed as a amateur as well as a professional. The reason for me being a trainer was I felt as a boxer myself that boxers in my generation were not getting the right attention in the regard to the education side of the sport, in as much as an understanding of what the art is all about. The passion and respect needed in order to achieve the boxers maximum level. I have 10 students in my school who are regular boxers, Dwayne Superman Jones Grant is special in my view. He has all the ingredients of a great boxer, and has the hunger for learning, and has a good temperament for the sport. I am interested also in women’s boxing and would like to get involved with its promotion in the future. I hope to make contact with trainers and promoters through this website.

I have a great experience in boxing coaching. I am ex-boxer and boxing coach in ex-Yugoslavia. For now I am in Canada. I am assistant of head coach in Nanaimo boxing club in B C in Canada. I looking for boxing club for further career as a boxing coach. I prefer Russian and Cuban boxing styles on my trainings.
Has female and male boxers who fight professionally in this area.
